Yahoo has updated its Mail application to now bring reminders for events and flight information. With a Google Search-like card layout, the Yahoo Mail app update now displays flight information along with top restaurant recommendations from Yelp once you land at your destination. Additionally, similar cards for events will give you at-a-glance information for Evite, Eventbrite, and Ticketmaster events.
Now, you can visit the "Today" section to find out if your flight is on time, delayed or cancelled. With one tap, you can get directions to the airport, call the airline to rebook your flight or go directly to the airline website.
For Evite, Eventbrite and Ticketmaster events, Yahoo Mail gives you the event details and helps you get directions to the venue.
