Tim Cook: iPhone 6 supply 'not on the same planet' as demand

Reiterating the company's strong guidance for its next fiscal quarter, Tim Cook told an analyst during today's conference call that iPhone 6 supply was "not on the same planet" as demand.

Apple sold 39.3 million iPhones for the quarter.

"At this point, we're selling everything we make," Cook said. "At this point it's difficult to say that we've estimated well on the SKU mixes between the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus."

Cook added that he thinks that Apple's manufacturing mix is pretty good, from what we he could tell, but Apple won't really know until demand is lower.

"It's a good problem to have," he joked.

Are you still waiting for your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus to be delivered? Let me know in the comments.
