A new report claims that the new iPads that Apple will likely reveal later today at their press event will support Apple Pay, suggesting that the tablets will have NFC hardware inside for the first time
The report comes from The New York Times, citing unnamed sources. Thanks to a iTunes leak on Wednesday, its been confirmed that Apple will introduce the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 at their event later today. The New York Times article also says that Apple will offer a gold colored version of its iPads for the first time, which is something that was previously rumored a few weeks ago.
