As we've been anticipating, Apple has today officially announced the new iPad mini 3 at its special event alongside the new iPad Air 2. The latest small iPad from Apple follows last year's trend of being almost every bit as much tablet as it's bigger brother but just in a smaller form factor. Features include Touch ID, improved wifi and LTE, gold color options, and more
Silver, gold, and space gray models will be available in 16 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB models for $399, $499, and $599 respectively for wifi only models, add another $130 for cellular capable models. Preorders start October 17 and ship by the end of next week.
