Some Apple Watch pre-orders targeted for deliveries in May and June now readying for shipment [Updated]

A number of customers who pre-ordered an Apple Watch with estimated delivery dates in May and June are now reporting that their orders are preparing for shipment.

A number of people have let us know that while their May and June shipment dates haven't changed, their credit cards have been charged, and their Apple Watches have moved to the "preparing for shipment" phase.

From Vidit Chaudhary:

However, some are noting that some orders meant to arrive between April 24 and May 8, the initial delivery window, are still processing.

So what are you seeing with your Apple Watch orders? Has your projected delivery date changed, or your order's shipping status? Be sure to let us know in the comments and the Apple Watch forums.

Update: In a statement given to Buzzfeed, Apple has confirmed that some pre-orders will arrive sooner than expected:

"We're happy to be updating many customers today with the news that their Apple Watch will arrive sooner than expected," an Apple spokeswoman told BuzzFeed News. "Our team is working to fill orders as quickly as possible based on the available supply and the order in which they were received. We know many customers are still facing long lead times and we appreciate their patience."
