Apple CEO Tim Cook announced on the company's post-earnings conference call today that more than 3,500 apps are now compatible with the Apple Watch.
The Apple Watch only just launched last week, but it looks like there is no shortage of apps for early-adopters to get their hands on, with over 3,500 adding in support for the wearable. Tim Cook cited the 3,500 number during Apple's earnings call after the company reported its best-ever March quarter, with a staggering 61.1 million iPhones sold in the quarter alone.
In any case, if you were one of the lucky early pre-order customers for the Apple Watch, it looks like you'll enjoy fantastic app support from the get-go, and it will only expand going forward.
