Pre-orders for the Apple Watch will begin at 12:01 a.m. PDT on April 10.

Apple has updated their Online Store to announce the pre-order time, just a week from today. A 12:01 a.m. PDT/3:01 a.m. EDT start time would be in line with pre-orders for past product launches.

April 10 is also the date that in-store previews of the Apple Watch will begin. Previews are said to be a limited to 15 minutes, during which customers will be able to try on different models of the Sport and stainless steel watches. The gold Editions, already limited to select stores, will reportedly have their own try-on rules. Customers will be able to pre-order their watches during their preview appointment.

Following pre-orders on April 10, the Apple Watch will formally release to customers in the first-wave launch countries on April 24.
