Apple reseller reportedly outs new processor options for MacBooks

Apple's upcoming MacBook will apparently have more detailed configuration options than Apple originally announced.

When originally announcing the device last month, Apple only detailed two configurations for the new, super-thin MacBook: a model with a 1.1GHz processor and a 256GB solid state drive, and one with a 1.2GHz processor and a 512GB SSD. These are currently the only configurations available from Apple's Online Store, with the 256GB model available for $1,299, and the 512GB version for $1,599. However, according to Apple retailer Expercom, there will be two other configurations for Apple's newest laptop.

In addition to the 1.1GHz and 1.2GHz Intel Core M processors, there will apparently be an option for a 1.3GHz processor, at least through Expercom. This processor can be paired with either the 256GB or 512GB SSD. The 256GB model will cost $1,548, while the 512GB model will cost $1,748. Expercom also offers AppleCare for the MacBook, as well as several accessories.

Customers will be able to get their hands on the new MacBook beginning this Friday, April 10, when orders for the device begin.
