Here's Isetan in Japan's Apple Watch store-within-a-store

Apple's plans to use select department stores around the world to sell its Apple Watch appears to be already underway, with construction of a pop-up store spotted in Japan.

The construction is happening for an Apple Watch store inside Isetan, one of Japan's largest department stores located in Shinjuku. A temporary black box has been set up inside the store with the Apple Watch logo displayed on the side, alongside text reading "Coming soon". According to The Verge:

It's the first thing you see when you enter the store — an ominous black box right by the entrance, marked only with the Apple Watch logo and a subtitle saying "Coming soon" in Japanese. Though you can't see inside the closed doors just yet, the floor space is sizeable, and Apple is right next to fine jewelry brand Cartier.

Pop-up stores are also expected to open inside Selfidges in London and Galeries Lafayette in Paris. The three stores will start selling the smartwatches come April 24.
