A new report says that Apple won't be offering customers a chance to book appointments to try out their upcoming Apple Watch at their local Apple Store before April 10.
The company had already announced that April 10 would be the first day that interested Apple Watch buyers could come try out the device on their own wrists ahead of its April 24 launch date. According to 9to5Mac:
While some had assumed that it would be possible to book an Apple Watch try-on appointment ahead of the April 10th Apple Store preview kickoff, several Apple employees have told 9to5Mac that the booking process will actually begin on the 10th — the same day appointments will commence.
Customers will be able to book their 15-minute appointments on April 10 on the Apple website or via the Apple Store iOS app. That app is already allowing people to virtually try on an Apple Watch with an iPhone. All of these experiences should give folks an idea on whether or not they will actually buy Apple's long awaited smartwatch.
