With over a million downloads since the initial launch, the folks at One Man Left just launched Outwitters 2.0 into the App Store.
The bump up to version 2.0 is the result of a complete re-write of the application allowing for better performance, faster load times and the ability to play cross platform with their Android-toting friends. Outwitters is a free turn-based strategy game that can be played by two players on the same device, or up to four players in an online competition. Players will take turns investing in their resources, which they call wits, to summons resources as well as navigate and destroy enemy bases.
The game features four races to choose from; each race has its own combat specialty to master, as well as its own cast of characters. iOS users will be able to play alongside those on Android devices as well, so you can play with a group of friends, or utilize the game's league ranking system to find other online users to play against.
Some extra content is available in the game as an in-app purchase, but the game itself is a free download.
