Tim Cook visits Georgetown Apple Store in support of World AIDS day

Shoppers at the Georgetown Apple Store were in for a treat today, as Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, stopped by the store to show his support for World AIDS Day. In addition, Cook was joined by RED charity CEO Deborah Dugan, and the two tweeted pictures from their trip together.

RED and Apple have often collaborated in recent years to bring awareness to AIDS relief efforts. The latest example of this collaboration saw Apple Stores changing the color of their iconic logos from white to red. In addition, many apps available on the App Store threw their weight behind the cause by "going red" this week and pledging to donate proceeds from in-app purchases to AIDS relief.
