CalDigit has announced Thunderbolt Station 2, the latest iteration of their Thunderbolt hub, now compatible with Thunderbolt 2. The hub features a variety of ports so you can plug in whatever type of accessory you might need.
CalDigit emphasizes the Thunderbolt Station's support for 4K workflows. It has two Thunderbolt 2 ports, along with HDMI. The back of the device also has two eSATA ports, as well as two USB 3.0 ports, and an ethernet port. The font also contains the Audio In and Audio Out, as well as a third USB 3.0 connection.
The Thunderbolt Station 2 is available for pre-order now at the special price of $169.99. That price goes up to $199.99 once the hub begins shipping on January 25, 2015.
