SoHo Apple Store to host GarageBand event with Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump to support (RED)

In a continuation of its efforts to bring awareness to AIDS relief, Apple has announced tonight that it will be holding an event on Thursday at SoHo store. The RED branded event will feature Patrick Stump, a member of the band 'Fallout Boy,' performing and talking about GarageBand.

This event is just the latest in a series that has seen Apple collaborate with AIDS charity RED to bring attention to AIDS relief efforts. Earlier this week, Apple Stores around the world changed their logos from white to red for World Aids Day. In addition, a number of apps on the App Store 'went red' last week by changing their branding and pledging to donate proceeds from in-app purchases to AIDS relief.

If you want to check out the performance, it looks like you can sign up to attend the event here.
